  • Related terms: Jejunal lymph nodes (Cranial mesenteric lymph center)

Definition

Antoine Micheau

The jejunal lymph nodes are a group of lymph nodes located in the mesentery adjacent to the jejunum near the jejunal arteries and jejunal veins. They are typically multiple, elongated to oval in shape, and arranged in a chain along the mesenteric border of the jejunum, embedded within the mesenteric fat.

They are more or less concentrated near the root (Car, eq) or near the intestinal border (su, Ru) of mesentery.
