Ethmoidal crest

Crista ethmoidalis

Definition

In Carnivorous and Men, the ethmoidal crest (attachment of the dorsal concha) crosses the medial surface of the frontal process of the maxilla.

An ethmoidal crest is also visible on the nasal bone and the palatine bone.

Mind that while it gives attachment to the dorsal nasal concha on the nasal bone and the maxilla -when it exists-; it gives attachment to the middle concha on the palatine bone
