Fossa musculus obliqui ventralis
Definition
The fossa for the ventral oblique is a depression in the orbital surface of the lacrimal bone, intended for the insertion of the ventral oblique muscle. Depending on the species, it is more or less pronounced; in pigs, it is particularly deep.
