Crista humeri

Definition

Anne-Sophie Emeric

The humeral crest is a prominent bony ridge on the cranial surface of the humerus that extends distally from the greater tubercle. It serves as a primary attachment site for the superficial and deep pectoral muscles and, in some species, contributes to the boundaries of the brachialis groove.
