Impression of the adrenal gland

The suprarenal impression of the liver (Impression of the adrenal gland) refers to the area where the adrenal (suprarenal) gland lies adjacent to the liver,ngenerally located near the dorsal part of the caudate lobe or the right lobe of the liver.

This anatomical feature is less distinct in domestic animals than in humans.
