Sinus palatinus
Definition
In Bulls, a palatine sinus (Sinus palatinus) connected to the maxillary sinus invades the hard palate: the whole palatine process of the maxilla and the horizontal plate of the palatine bone. It stays fully separated from the opposite palatine sinus by an imperforated median septum (Septum sinuum palatinorium).
