Dorsum of nose

Dorsum nasi

Definition

Juliette Garnodier

The dorsum of the nose is one of the parts of the nose, located on the face. It extends rostrally from the forehead at the level of the eyes, continues laterally into the infraorbital and cheek regions, and rostrally into the apex of the nose.

Wider and much longer in domestic mammals than in humans, it shows a variable profile depending on the species and breeds.
