The ethmoidal foramina are small openings located rostrally to the optic canal, belonging to the frontal bone. they are located in the suture between the presphenoid bone and the frontal bone.

In carnivores, these foramina are double and are corresponding to the ethmoidal foramen in other species. However, these they may merge in some individuals.

The ethmoidal foramina contains the external ethmoidal vessels and the ethmoidal nerve.
