Fossa sacci lacrimalis
Definition
The fossa for lacrimal sac is a depression of varying depth located near the orbital margin. It contains the dilated origin of the nasolacrimal duct.
Variation:
In cats, it is formed by the lacrimal bone and the frontal process of the maxilla.
