Foramina ethmoidalia
Definition
The ethmoidal foramina are two small openings corresponding to the single ethmoidal foramen in most species. They are located centrally on the orbital surface and communicate between the orbit and the rostral part of the brain cavity. This foramen is mainly double in dogs and humans.
