The medial border of the kidney is the inner margin of the kidney that faces the midline.It is characterized by the presence of the renal hilum (continued into the kidney by the renal sinus), a concave region where structures such as the renal artery, renal vein, lymphatics, nerves, and ureter enter or exit the kidney.
