Fissura parasagittalis
Definition
The parasagittal fissure is the fissure located between the caudal lobe and accessory lobe of the right lung.
This term is not listed in the NAV, it has been chosen by Ishaq et al. in “A morphological study of the lungs and bronchial tree of the dog: with a suggested system of nomenclature for bronchi.” J Anat. 1980 Dec; 131(Pt 4): 589–610.
