Processus zygomaticus

Definition

The zygomatic process arises from the temporal surface of the squamous part of the temporal bone. Rostrolaterally, it units with temporal process of the zygomatic bone to form the zygomatic arch. Caudally, the zygomatic process expends with the articular tubercle and the mandibular fossa for the temporomandibular joint.
