Ceratohyoid muscle
Musculus ceratohyoideus
Definition
The ceratohyoid muscle fills the triangle between thyro and ceratohyoids.
Origin: rostral margin of the thyrohyoid bone
Insertion: caudal margin of the ceratohyoid bone
Action: elevates the thyrohyoid and draws the larynx rostrodorsally
