Ethmoidal meatus

Meatus ethmoidales

Definition

The ethmoidal or nasal meatus (Meatus ethmoidales) are narrow spaces lodged between the nasal conchae; the set of all meatus constitute the ethmoidal or olfactive labyrinth (Labyrinthus ethmoidalis). They all communicate medially with the common meatus (Meatus nasi communis), a narrow space lodged between the mass of the turbinates and perpendicular plate.
