Lesser palatine foramina

In some species (Bulls, Pigs, Dogs), accessory foramina open on the ventral surface of the horizontal plate -and of the pyramidal process- of the palatine bone. They are called small or lesser palatine foramina (Foramina palatina minora) are the ventral openings of the lesser palatine canals (Canales palatina minora).
