Definition

Juliette Garnodier

The olfactory tubercle is a rounded elevation located in the rhinencephalon, in the space between the two olfactory tracts, and separated from the lateral olfactory tract by the endorhinal groove. It consists of a three-layered cortex that sends axons to the hypothalamus via the medial forebrain bundle.
