Processus clinoideus rostralis

Definition

On the endocranial side of the wing of the sphenoid bone, caudally to the optic canal, at the margin of the turcic sella, is located, on each side, the rostral clinoid process (Processus clinoideus rostralis), which is very inequally developed according to the species.
