Definition
The right ventricle may be subdivided into three parts: inlet, apical trabecular, and outlet components.The inlet of the right ventricle is the portion of the right ventricle that receives blood from the right atrium through the tricuspid valve. It consists of the tricuspid valve and the chordae tendineae.
