Commissurae
Definition
Commissures are bundles of axons connecting the right and left parts of the hypothalamus. They include the supraoptic commissures, the supramammillary commissure, and the intra-hypothalamic commissures, enabling interhemispheric communication and coordination between hypothalamic nuclei.
