Commissurae supraopticae
Definition
The supra‑optic commissures are bundles of axons connecting the hypothalamic nuclei of the right and left sides of the hypothalamus, allowing interhemispheric communication.
They are distinguished into the dorsal and ventral supra‑optic commissures.
