Musculus sternothyroideus [-thyreoideus] - Origo
Definition
The sternothyroid muscle originates on the manubrium of sternum and on the cranial border of the first costal cartilage.
Variation :
In Equids, it starts on the cranial extremity of the manubrium of sternum.
