Angular process
Processus angularis
Definition
On the caudal border of the ramus of their mandible, just above the angle of the mandible, the Carnivorous and Glires have the angular process (Processus angularis); it is a powerful relief of muscular insertion, that reaches an enormous development in certain species.
In Equidae, Ruminants (except for the Camel), Men and Pigs, it is missing and only replaced by a simple roughness
