Sulcus chiasmatis
Definition
The chiasmatic groove (Sulcus chiasmatis) is located on the endocranial side of the body of the presphenoid bone, just in front of the hypophyseal fossa, and separated from it by a more or less elevated treshold and belonging to the presphenoid bone.
