Definition

Origin: Cranial edge of the lateral collateral ligament and on the lateral epicondyle of the humerus.

Insertion: Dorsal portion of the distal phalanxes III to V in Ca, proximal phalanx in Eq, all phalanges of digit IV in Ru, IV and V in Su, II to V in Fe

Action: Extension of carpal and phalangeal joints of corresponding digits. 

Nerve: Radialis.
