Musculus tensor fasciae antebrachii

  • Synonym: Tensor muscle of antebrachial fascia

Definition

Origin: Above the axillary arch from the thickened epimysium of the lateral surface of the latissimus dorsi.

Insertion: Olecranon.

Action: It supports the action of the triceps brachii and is the chief tensor of the antebrachial fascia.

Nerve: Radialis.
