Pronator teres muscle
Musculus pronator teres
- Synonym: Round pronator muscle
Definition
Origin: Medial condyle cranial to the flexor carpi radialis.
Insertion: Distal to the supinator on the medial border of the radius as far as its middle.
Action: Rotation of the forearm so that the dorsal surface tends to become medial.
Nerve: Medianus.
