Definition

Origin: Medial epicondyle of the humerus, immediately caudal to the tendon of origin of the flexor carpi radialis and on the caudal surface of the proximal three-fifths of the radius.

Insertion: Tuberosities of the distal phalanges of digits two through five and digit one.

Action: Flexor of the forepaw (carpus and digital joints).

Nerve: Medianus.
