Ligamentum hepatogastricum
Definition
The hepatogastric ligament is a thin portion of the lesser omentum that extends between the liver and the lesser curvature of the stomach. It encloses important vascular structures, including parts of the gastric vessels, and contributes to the formation of the lesser sac (omental bursa).
