Nucleus hypothalamicus dorsomedialis
Definition
The dorsomedial hypothalamic nucleus is a nucleus located in the intermediate region of the hypothalamus, dorsal to the ventromedial nucleus, involved in the regulation of hunger and satiety, as well as in certain autonomic and endocrine functions via its projections to other hypothalamic nuclei and the neurohypophysis.
