The ventromedial hypothalamic nucleus is a nucleus located in the intermediate region of the hypothalamus, ventral to the dorsomedial nucleus, involved in the regulation of hunger and satiety, as well as in certain autonomic and endocrine functions via its projections to other hypothalamic nuclei and the neurohypophysis.
