The infundibular nucleus is a hypothalamic nucleus located in the intermediate region of the hypothalamus at the level of the tuber cinereum. It participates in hormonal secretion by sending axons to the tuber cinereum and the neurohypophysis, and plays a role in regulating appetite and homeostasis.
