Crista sagittalis externa
Definition
The external sagittal crest is a relief located in the dorsal portion of the occipital bone, on the exocranial side of the squamous part of occipital bone. It extends from the external occipital protuberance rostrally. At the level of the parietal bone, the external sagittal crest divides into two temporal lines.
