Tuber parietale
Definition
The parietal tuberosity is a prominence, located on the outer surface of the parietal bone, of varying prominence, in the dorsolateral region of the cranial vault.
It corresponds to a zone of primary ossification of the parietal bone and often represents the point of maximum convexity of this bone.
