Musculus zygomaticoauricularis

Definition
The zygomaticoauricularis muscle is a thin, very short but relatively large, that extends from the the zygomatic arch to the concha of auricle becoming narrower and more distinct.
Origin: rostral part of the zygomatic arch, under the incisive part of the mandible in rabbit
Insertion: base of the auricle
Artery: rostral auricular artery
Nerve: auriculopalpebral nerve
Action: it turns the intertragic notch rostrally
Antagonist: Cervicoauricularis muscles
