This interactive atlas of human heart anatomy is based on medical illustrations and cadaver photography.
The user can show or hide the anatomical labels which provide a useful tool to create illustrations perfectly adapted for teaching.

Some illustrations have been drawn and coloured with Adobe Photoshop.
Others are based on an adapted 3D model (texturing and modelling) to the study of anatomy.
The user will also find at least some cadaver photographs.
Anatomical structures were labelled according to the actual Terminologia Anatomica.
Anatomy of the human heart and coronaries: how to visualize anatomic structures
This tool provides access to several medical illustrations, allowing the user to interactively discover heart anatomy. Images are labelled, providing an invaluable medical and anatomical tool. The test mode allows instant evaluation of user progress.
On "Anatomical parts" on the menu bar the user can choose the groups of anatomical labels:
- Morphology – pericardium
- Myocardium – fibrous structures
- Left cavities
- Right cavities
- Valves : aortic, mitral tricuspid and pulmonary valves
- Left coronary artery
- Right coronary artery
- Veins
- Conduction system
- Mediastinum vessels such as aorta, pulmonary arteries and veins, superior vena cava.
On the bottom of this module, small images appear as an interactive menu allowing the user fast access to the different anatomic views.
This module was designed for anatomists, radiologists, cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, medical students and residents.
