Processus mastoideus
Definition
Proportionally smaller in domestic animals than in Men, the mastoid process (Processus mastoideus) is a strong tuberosity which supports muscular insertions. It is located at the ventral end of the mastoid crest, caudoventrally to the external acoustic meatus.
