The scutuloauricular superficialis intermedium muscle is poorly isolatable from the termination of the cervicoauricularis superficialis muscle. This muscle is one of the four muscles of the scutuloauriculares superficiales muscles (with the dorsal, the ventral and the accessory) that help to orientate the intertragic notch rostrally.
