The scutuloauricular superficialis ventralis muscle is broad and short. It doesn’t exist in ruminants. This muscle is one of the four muscles of the scutuloauriculares superficiales muscles (with the dorsal, the intermediate and the accessory) that help to orientate the intertragic notch rostrally.
