Flexor digitalis medialis muscle - Tendon

Musculus flexor digitalis medialis - Tendo

Definition

Felipe Barona Lopez

The tendon of the flexor digitorum or digitalis medialis muscle extends the fleshy body of the muscle from the distal half of the tibia. It passes through the medial side of the tarsus and then through the plantar side of the foot and joins the tendon of the flexor digitalis superficialis muscle, except in rabbits, where it attaches only to the second toe.
