Musculus vastus medialis - Origo
Definition
The origin of the medial vastus muscle is located on the proximal fifth of the femur on the intertrochanteric crest cranially. Medially on the line for the vastus medialis and somewhat farther distally, on the proximal portion of the medial lip.
